Things are moving faster all the time
New, empty machines won’t sync in time
More and more freedoms are becoming crimes
And into this realm we have to climb

Grey skies and no one else around
Down at the beach
And when all feels like some coming doom

And stare out at the crashing waves
Today they sent a missile out in to space
To let something know that someone’s here
She doesn’t even know her place
In a domain of tenacious fools
Things are moving into meltdown all the time
Like a cacophony of sadist chimes
The darkening clouds come closer all the time
She’ll close her eyes and think of a rhyme
