Go as far as you can go…

They open their eyes to see their grey world
Outside from the train turn into green
The rails glide over lakes of pristine glass
Yet there’s no-one else on this train that can be seen

The humming buzz of circuits change into a song
An escape to things still unseen
The conductor then comes, introduces herself
And with a smile and a flash in her eye, she says:

“Here’s to all you young commuters.
Go as far as you can go.”

They don’t know how long this ride will last
But soon enough the train comes to an ease
The cavernous space of the terminus
Is somewhat a mystery

They’re stepping out of the carriage now
And greeted by a man with hollow teeth
Standing next to him his a figure in a cloak
And then the first man starts to speak and says:

“He calls you The Young Commuters.
Go as far as you can go.”
